Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 3, 2026

This policy explains what information Swellgang LLC collects through our mobile game Gridiron Blocks (the "App") and our website swellgang.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the App on both Apple iOS and Google Android.

Short version: Gridiron Blocks gives you a guest account tied to a random ID, so you don't have to give us your name or email. Your club and matches are saved on our servers, and we collect gameplay and device data to run and improve the game. We don't show ads, we don't use outside analytics companies, and we don't sell your information.

1. Who we are

Swellgang LLC is a California limited liability company. We are the developer and publisher of the App and are responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at support@swellgang.com.

2. Information we collect

Your game account

The first time you open the App, it creates a random ID for your device, and our server sets up a guest account linked to it. We store your game on our servers under that account. This includes your club, the names and looks you choose for your club and players, your roster, progress, coins and rewards, and your match results.

Sign in with Apple or Google

If the App offers sign-in and you choose to use it, we receive an account ID from Apple or Google so we can link your game to it and restore it on a new device. Depending on what you allow, we may also receive your name and email address. With Apple, you can choose to hide your email, and Apple will give us a private relay address instead.

Gameplay and device data

While you play, the App sends us information about how the game is used and how it runs:

When the App connects to our servers, our servers also see your IP address and may keep it in connection logs.

Purchases

If the App offers in-app purchases and you make one, Apple or Google handles the payment. We never see your card number or billing address. We receive a receipt that shows what you bought and when, so we can deliver it and restore it. Payments are covered by the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

Crash reports from Apple and Google

If you've turned on sharing with app developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may also send us crash reports and performance data. These don't include your name.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message.

Website

The Site does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs with your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited.

What we don't collect

The App does not ask for access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location. It does not use your device's advertising ID, and it doesn't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. How we use information

We do not use your information for advertising.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only in these cases:

5. How long we keep it

Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule, so deleted data may stay in a backup for up to 30 more days.

6. Deleting your account and data

You can ask us to delete your Gridiron Blocks account and the data linked to it at any time.

When we delete an account, we delete your club, players, progress, match history, and the gameplay data linked to your account. We finish within 30 days. We may keep a record of purchases if tax or accounting law requires it, and we may keep information needed to stop fraud or cheating.

Uninstalling the App does not delete your account on our servers. If you want it gone, ask us.

7. Children

The App is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, you have the rights listed above. In the past 12 months we may have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (your game account ID, IP address, and email address if you contacted us or signed in), commercial information (purchase records), and internet or other electronic activity (how you used the App). We got this information from you and your device, and from Apple or Google when you signed in or made a purchase. We used it for the purposes in section 3. We have not sold or shared personal information, and we don't use sensitive personal information. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.

EEA and UK residents. We process your information to provide the game you asked for (performance of a contract), to fix, secure, and improve the game (our legitimate interests), and to meet legal duties.

To use any of these rights, email support@swellgang.com. We'll respond within 30 days, or sooner if your local law requires. We may ask for details to confirm the account is yours.

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypting the connection between the App and our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information will never be accessed without permission.

10. Where data is processed

Swellgang LLC and our servers are in the United States. If you play from outside the US, your information will be sent to and processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also tell you in the App or on the Site.
